Freeman, the leading global provider of brand experiences has appointed Adam Jones, co-founder and former CEO of Showplans, to the position of director – Digital Products, Freeman in EMEA, overseeing the entire digital event technology portfolio. The digital portfolio includes a range of leading enablement and engagement technologies, including four products from Showplans Technology Group, which Freeman acquired at the end of 2016.

Adam Jones


Adam founded Showplans with Richard in 2009. He envisaged a business based on creativity, quality and service. These values remain core to Showplans today. Outside of work, Adam spends his Sundays playing football for a local team and usually limps into work on a Monday. He’s also a bit of a technology geek, and is usually found testing the latest gadget or online tech.

Richard Dove

Managing Director

Richard has been with Showplans from the start. Together with Adam — who he’d known since 2003 — Richard founded Showplans and continues to guide the company today. Richard enjoys skiing but hasn’t quite mastered the black runs yet, he needs a little more time away to practice apparently. Richard is also a great cook and regularly dishes up top notch meals for friends and family, his signature dish is Pork belly in a Cider jus.

Richard Nicholls

Lead Developer

In 2013, Richard joined us in this key role. With an expert technical background, he’s the driving force behind ShowHub, ensuring it’s a truly simple and powerful service for event organisers. Richard’s past employment has seen him work at some very interesting companies, not least Womad where he worked for Peter Gabriel, despite this he still can’t name any of his songs.


Simon Watson

Lead Programmer

As we continue to develop ShowHub across desktop and mobile platforms, Simon’s background in games development ensures we’re building a truly versatile and engaging service. A keen gamer, Simon can often be found fighting warlords or Elks. He also has an MSc in Physics, so is our go to man for anything mathematical.


James Taylor

Sales Manager

With extensive events experience and technical know-how, James builds long-term client relationships — and makes sure those clients are getting the most from our technology. James is a keen biker and often ventures out on track to test his wits against other riders. He also has a deep interest in current affairs which stems from his global politics degree.


Katie Bushell-Edwards

Senior Floorplan Architect

Katie is an expert floor plan designer, with considerable experience working on events in a whole variety of venues. Today, she heads up our ShowFloorplans design service. Katie enjoys going to live concerts and can play many instrument, including drums and guitar. She’s also likes catch up with friends over a good local ale and lunch whenever she can.


Federica Canettieri

Floorplan Architect

Federica makes sure every client event gets the best-possible floor plan. With a Masters in Architecture and Design, she has the skills and flair for improving the layout of any event. Federica is originally from Napoli, Italy. She has always had a fascination for architecture and has travelled across the globe utilising another of her many skills to photograph the various styles and design periods.


Ana Campos Sanchez


Creativity flows throughout Ana’s work. With responsibility for design across our business, her focus is on developing and refining the Showplans brand identity. Ana is originally from Madrid, Spain. She loves fashion and keeps her finger on the pulse with all things design. Ana also likes to head back to Spain to see friends and family as well as to ride her horse.

Cherrelle Jefferson

Cherrelle Jefferson

Client Account Manager

Cherrelle's role sees her maintaining and building on our award winning client support. In this role she brings key skills including client communications, organisation, software support and relationship building. Within Cherrelle's spare time she likes to keep up her passion for singing, performing and sports presenting.
