MEDIA 10 ACQUIRES IDEAL HOME SHOW
The Ideal Home Show has been sold to one of Britain's fastest growing events and publishing companies Media 10 - just over 100 years after the famous show was first launched. Previously owned by dmg world media, it is the first time in the show's history that ownership has changed hands.
Media 10, which was formed just six years ago and is best known for the award-winning Grand Designs Live events, will take over ownership and be responsible for staging the show next March at Earls Court.

SHOWPLANS HELP WINEFAIR WIN TOP AEO AWARD!
Ross Carter International Sales Manager, said, "One of the principal innovations to the exhibition has been the Interactive Floorplan, developed and implemented by Showplans. The LIWF has over 1,100 exhibitors, showing over 30,000 wines, from more than 25 countries worldwide, so transferring this data to a user-friendly interactive platform was no small undertaking. EUROPEAN OFFSHORE WIND 2009 DOUBLES IN SIZE!
With all of the 4,000m2 stand space now sold, the European Offshore Wind 2009 exhibition has doubled in size since the previous event in 2007 and has already sold out. Showplans will be providing the Interactive event planner for this year's show, which will play a key role in helping visitors to meet over 220 of the key players in offshore wind power from Europe, North America and Asia the world's foremost manufacturers, developers, power generators, engineering and construction companies, power generators and utilities.

BORIS GIVES HIS SEAL OF APPROVAL TO FUTURESOURCE!
The Futuresource 2009 conference and exhibition has been hailed as a success by show organisers the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and the Environmental Services Association. Boris Johnson, Mayor of London gave his seal of approval saying "It is a very important event and I am fully behind its move to London and what it stands for. The work that you are doing is truly inspirational". Attendance at Futuresource 2009 was 30% up on the 2008 figure for its predecessor, the long-established CIWM show in Torbay.
